1.
A tattoo consultation is the first step toward getting a tattoo. It is an important meeting and we usually set
aside 1 -2 hours for each of our clients. *Rest assured, consultation is free.
However, before requesting for an consultation, do us a favor & ask yourself
the following questions;
-
Am I ready for a tattoo?
-
Will there be a chance that i may regret in the future after getting a tattoo?
Now that your consultation is booked, it’s time to prepare! Be sure that you know what you want. You don’t need to have a perfect concrete idea of what your tattoo should look like, but you do need to know the following before
our consultation;
-
Subject of the tattoo
-
Placement of the tattoo
-
Size of the tattoo
Our job is not to make up your mind, or tell you what tattoo you should get.
At the end of the consultation, if you are certain that we have the right artist for you, you will need to place a deposit and we'll set an appointment date for the tattoo.
2.
Do have 6 hours of sleep before your tattoo day, refrain from taking any alcohol or drugs 12 hours prior to your tattoo appointment.
We'll review the tattoo design in the studio on the actual day itself & make any changes if there's a need to.
Once you've affirm on the design, the skin area will need to be cleaned and sterilized. If the area is hairy, it may need to be shaved. After which, the design will be transfer onto your skin using a stencil. We will then prepare the inks and equipment & we'll begin the session.
From this moment, you need to stay calm, breathe normally, & sit still. If this is your first tattoo, you may panic or feel uncomfortable due to the pain.
However, you've to keep yourself relaxed so that we can do our job.
Once the tattoo is finished, & our artists are satisfied with the work, We'll let you know that the tattoo is completed. After your approval which means you're happy with it, We'll clean & disinfect the area properly.
The final part is bandaging the area. A tattoo is a flesh wound and needs to be covered properly so that it won't get infected. After the bandage is applied, We'll remove our gloves & discard everything that was used during the process. *Except for the machine.
3.
Each and every new tattoo goes through a certain healing process. Usually this process will take between
7 - 14 days.
Once you’re able to remove the bandage after leaving the studio, now comes the big moment - the first clean. You must remember that as soon as you remove your wrap you will want to clean your new tattoo RIGHT AWAY.
Do follow the steps below to clean your new tattoo;
Always make sure you thoroughly clean your hands with a good antibacterial soap before so much as slightly touching your tattoo.
-
Gently wash the tattoo, use your hands to rub the tattoo gently, removing all traces of blood, plasma, or leaked ink.
-
Pat the tattoo dry with a light, soft towel. Once you have thoroughly washed the tattoo, you should gently pat it dry with a clean towel. Do not rub the tattoo, as this may cause irritation.
-
Apply a non-scented, water-based anti-bacterial ointment. Once your tattoo is fully dry, and the skin begins to feel tight you can apply a little ointment, preferably an all natural aftercare to the tattoo. Make sure to apply only a very thin layer and rub it in gently until it's absorbed by the skin.
-
Continue to wash and moisturize your tattoo, at minimum, twice a day until the scab is gone.
What to avoid during the healing process;
-
Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo.
-
Avoid soaking the tattoo.
-
Do not expose your new tattoo to direct sunlight.
-
Avoid tight-fitting clothes.
-
Avoid working out.
